PROJECT: WHIM THEATRE

Request For Proposal from Stage 773 to create a brand look for WHIM, “a ground-breaking piece of experiential, immersive and interactive theatre.”

OBJECTIVE:

Create an exciting, relevant visual language to help communicate the inner workings of the creative brain where we blur the lines between artist, performer and audience.

APPROACH:

Research the definition of WHIM, a play off “whimsy” to describe the essence of the creative thinking as it applies to the living art forms coming together, and how that visually manifests itself.

RESULT:

Won the proposal, thrilling the theatre’s board of directors with a series of well thought through visual ideas to peak the imagination of visitors. Worked with staff to refine the final logo, create a brand style guide and multi-page brochure to sell the idea to investors.

PROJECT: NCAA WOMEN'S FINAL FOUR

Selected to bring my vast creative and production design experience to experiential agency MKTG and bring this massive collegiate event to life via the fan-centric Capital One sponsored Tourney Town interactive event space.

OBJECTIVE:

Working with the NCAA and a variety of brands, execute a variety of fun, informative activities to excite and thrill attendees from Final Four team and history of women’s basketball exhibits to interactive kid-friendly game play.

APPROACH:

In a word, preparation. Using the NCAA provided style guide, we create a wide variety of print and digital pieces to align with the overall look of the event and enhance the on-site fan experience, while also integrating and selling in the ever changing list of brand sponsors. It is essential to be nimble and ready to pivot in this high-energy, fast-paced production working closely with multiple vendors and stake-holders.

RESULT:

Championship worthy attendance and interactions have become the norm as this event keeps growing with the game of women’s basketball nationwide. We like to think the contributions to our spirit building event spaces have become a much-anticipated part of the annual tournament.

OBJECTIVE:

Celebrate the Guinness Notre Dame and Joe Montana partnership with national retailers to get them pumped up for the fall season and recognize sales achievements to star distributors.

APPROACH:

Bring to life all the elements that make Guinness the legendary brand it is through sampling, testing their “the perfect pour”, football contests and photo ops among others.

RESULT:

With flawless execution, we achieved the energetic vibe we were looking for and all the distributors absolutely loved it! Mission accomplished in generating the sales motivation Diageo wanted.
